Forever Odd

Now that I have made a couple posts and subsequently navigated my blog, I have noticed that the current set-up still didn’t have the look and feel that I was going for.  Namely, I wanted to have the parent and sub category(s) be displayed in the Posted Category section, to eliminate potential confusion and, in my opinion, enhance the look and functionality of my site.

I would like to have just included the ‘orange box’ just at the very beginning, but couldn’t figure out how to do that because the CSS, from my brief experimentation, had to be applied to the WP function call to print out all the categories, applying the ‘organge box’ to each category.

Do you know how to make the box show up just at the beginning, instead of after each category?  Please let me know as I would be interested in knowing what moddifications are necessary.
